what is it worth? 200 90

I have decided that it is time to part with my 90 240 sedan but i am not sure what it is worth. I figure ( through a complex accounting system of use and expenses) that the car only owes me $2500 at this point, however i remember seeing recent posts of proud new purchases that make me suspect i may be able to get a little more for my car. Any ideas on what would be a fair asking price? (for me as well as potential buyers)

by the way - its got about 125K miles, automatic trans, shiny paint but a few dings, wear spot on drivers seat back

    Michael:

    If it's rust free and the A/C works, I'd gladly take it off your hands for $2500! Yes, you probably can get a bit (or a lot) more for it, especially if you're in an area of the country where Volvos are popular (New England, Pacific Northwest, SF Bay area, Washington DC area, etc).

      yep the a/c works, as for the rust there is a little surface rust on the lower corner of the driver's door, but not too bad. Too bad your in Florida (of course you've already got 4 why would you need another?)
