Looking for a muffler 700 1986

I’m looking for a muffler for my 1986 740T automatic.

Anyone know of a good mail order place ?

If you're looking for an official Volvo part, try Brentwood Volvo 1-800-844-9502. Their prices are usually about 15 to 20% off list and they have good service. Occasionally they have special sales when you can get up to 30% off. I recently got an entire exhaust (everything after cat)for my 760 for around $200 delivered. It included all clamps and hangers and I believe the muffler carries a lifetime warranty covered by Volvo.

Try IPS in Boise. 1-800-897-7278. I just bought a complete exhaust system from them for our 86 745T. It was about $145 including shipping, if memory serves me right. It was Starla, made in Sweden!

Buzz -- where do you live? Big heavy packages like mufflers become expensive and slow when mailed great distances. If you live in the middle Atlantic states or the northeast, try:
