im curious if anyone has any knowledge of how to tweak a K cam from a b23e that i just put in my b21f.. its a pretty sweet improvement especially around 3000 rpms. however, the ignition timing must be way differnt because we have it turned all the way and it shows 0 on the timing cover. it idles pretty smooth but i was just curious if theres something im missing or whatever. anyway any info would be appreciated. thanx - john

It sounds like you slipped a tooth putting the belt back on. I do not think there is any way the cam grind affects ignition timing. I would make sure the valve clearances are correct after the cam swap though. I found it easiest to put in the K, measure all clearances, remove the K, and swap in the batch of new shims. The clearances were much less with the K in there.
