Window regulator interchange 700 1990

I would like to replace the regulator in the driver's door of my 1990 740. The local pick and pull has several earlier body style 740's. Will the regulators interchange? Thanks.

    I replaced my '91 745 drivers window regulator with a recycled part & its been working just fine for the last 2 years. If you need a Volvo recycler that has excellent service call 800-752-0146 (billy) B&D auto salvage has always had everything needed & reasonable prices.

    The regulator will need to be removed & matched to the junkyard replacement.(if your pulling it yourself) The mount patterns are not all the same. If the new one has rivets but the patern is identical it will work.

    I saved alot of money doing it all myself with used part / get new door trim attachment plugs for the door trim panel.

    Have to same problem with my '90 744 16valve. Don't by used or you will have problem again soon. By IPD regulator. I bought one and installed it. Works great!! Brad Smith - - York PA
