Front End Acting Funny 700 1987

When I reverse to my left or drive slowly forward left(in and out of parking spaces)in my 760 turbo, there is a "bump-bump" in the right front I can feel it both in the car and in the steering wheel. There is also some vibration when driving at normal speeds. The rotors were replaces, and now I'm thinking about going after the struts. I want to keep the poor girl, but I'm afraid I have my problems cut out for me. Any ideas on where to target and approx the cost. She's only got 165,00 so I know the engine is good for at least another 100K :-) I want this car forever! Do I need psychiatric evaluation?

Ball joints? It helps to have the car on a hoist to check them out. I have had them replaced on a 740 at 200,000 km and a 940 at 150,000 km.

From your description, it sounds like the cone bushings are shot. Check out the 700/900 FAQ via the link below. Lots of good info on front ends.
