aw71 transmission PICTURES 700 1988

Where can I get photos or drawings of an aw71 transmission? Especially showing the selenoid valve for the O.D. I 've looked through several Volvo service manuals that not only don't show the aw71, but don't say much about it either.

    This is the site that markets the green Volvo shop manuals. Look for the ones for the 88 740 and the tranny books. I bought the 2 AW71 books in anticipation of rebuilding the tranny in my car. Was able to delay the rebuild with a couple repairs, like replacing the kick down cable. The drawing and photos are great. The directions are very clear. The books are something like $23.00 a piece. But these books are the authority when it comes to Volvos.
