POPULAR MECHANICS REPAIR CD'S 700 1991

Just a warning to my fellow do it yourself Volvo owners, stay away from

Popular Mechanics automotive repair on cd-rom.

I'm sad to say it is a rip-off. The diagrams and pictures are at best fuzzy, and are bad scans of bad photocopies. Even the worst manuals out there have better diagrams and pictures than those cd's.

Take my word, don't waste your hard earned money on them. Totaly not worth it. Now, can someone tell me which is the best manual and where to get it?

Take care

Re: POPULAR MECHANICS REPAIR CD'S 700 1991

I agree... there wasn't anything in those CD's that I couldn't find in my haynes or Chilton's manuals. I would recommend both as they can be had for less than $30 for the pair (mebbe even around $20 on eBay) and between the two they do a pretty good job of covering everything I've attempted.

Agree with you, and the best is still the original Volvo green. $$$$, but good.
