MY SHOP IN SAN DIEGO IS CONSTANTLY RUNNING ACROSS FAULTY WIRING HARNESSES, DUE TO INSULATION FAILURE. WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO. REGARDING AFTERMARKET SOLUTION'S TO THIS COMMON PROBLEM CONCERNING 240&700 SERIES MODELS-UNDERHOOD WIRING HARNESSES; THE OEM VOLVO COMPONENT'S ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE, AS WE ALL KNOW. MUCH THANKS-BEACH AUTO REPAIR-858-483-6801

    Try IPS (Import Part Specialists) 1-800-897-7278. They can get most any

    volvo part, both OEM and aftermarket, at dicount prices.

      Roy-thanks for your timely reply. I am a bit frustrated, concerning the wiring harness issue, however I apologize for the cap-error. Please forward any pertinent info., you encounter. I am aware of IPD, and will contact them first.

      Also I have a 71 142-coupe. I need the shifter socket assembly (auto), and original upholstery options-thanks again. G.T. BLOOMFIELD
