third seat install question... 200 all

I just bought a 3rd seat for a 245 at the wreckers with all the hardware tht I plan to sell on ebay. My question is how critical is the hole location in the wheel well for the lower seatbelt mount bolt? I measured and can get close but the metal does not seem to be reinforced so it looks like as long as the hole stays in front of the radial ridge pressed into the metal it should be fine. Also the torque seems light on the bolts since they came out with just 6 inch cresent wrench with no problem. Any ideas on the bolt torque? I guess they are in shear not tensionso the torque is not really important?

Re: third seat install question... 200 89

The factory kit includes two threaded reinforcements that are installed on the exterior side of the wheel well. Go back to the wreckers and get them. They are (if I remember corretly) 2 inches in diameter with a nut welded on, in shape sort of like a three quarter circle with a raised lip.

already had them thanx 200 89

I already took those with me. I just wondered since I looked at few similar vintage 245's without the 3rd seat and saw no locating dimple for the hole or really for the large washers either. But I guess the seat belts only work when the car is in reverse.
