Cigarette Lighter doesn't work 200 1992

the cigarette lighter in my 240 doesn't work, is there something simple to fix it?

    Hi,

    Check Fuse 1
    If it's corrosion and you fix it by twisting the fuse, it's a heads up
    to clean all the fuses and sockets, and then lube with Penetrox-A to
    deter corrosion and maybe failure of a key circuit leaving you dead on the road
