$500 parts car 91 sedan 200 1991

Just wanna share what I picked up today, a one owner '91 240 sedan. Its a 5 speed, 165k on the odometer. gold exterior black interior. The body is straight and the interior is in perfect condition. Its got the 15" alloy wheels. Its also got a tail light trim piece on the back that goes across the back from one light to the other, have never seen anything like it. The motor turns over easy by hand. The guy I bought it from said it needed a flywheel. I think I did alright with it just needed something to pull whatever I needed off for my '92 that has over 350k miles on it.

Nice find. As I recall, a red reflector trim piece between the taillights was available as a Volvo acccessory way back in the late '70s or early '80s around the same time they had reflective bumper tape. IPD had a similar aftermarket version they sold for a number of years. A black decal between the taillights was also popular.

Where are you located? I'm looking for a standard shift differential (3.31 ratio) for my '93 245 V8 conversion. Does your parts car have anti-lock brakes? I understand that makes a difference with the speedo drive wiring. Also--does it appear that the odometer works on your parts car(typical tip-off is that the meter is set to zero because the owner reset it hoping it wou9ld work -- or--- is it at some actual number (for instance - 376 miles -- indicating that it was working)? - Dave
