Defroster vent hoses 1800 1970

OEM hoses are black, ribbed PAP (paper/aluminum/paper). ID is 1.5" (38mm). I need to replace one of mine mine as the ends are broken and it keeps detaching itself. While you can get inexpensive, vintage VW hoses that are the right construction/size/function, they don't have the same "ribbed" look. (Not than anyone actually look up under my dash.) Can't seem to find anything that looks correct and is long enough (about 2'). Anyone got a solution?
