spare old style rear axle gears 444-544

I think I have some gears that are NOS. I can check for the crown and pinion but pretty sure i have a new differential set and maybe the right crown and pinion set too. I think its for an older volvo with a rear axle that splits but I could perhaps compare some measurements to ID them..
I have a 66 Amazon but not an earlier car. I'm sure it's pretty rare to even find new gears. can I retire now ? ;-) I got a NOS crown and pinion for my amazon with the same bunch.. and lowered it like a 123GT with the OD.. it really made it a lot tighter I did all the bearings too.. I did not change the differential though..

I figure somewhere out there there is some guy with a nice shiny 444 or 544 with some fine work into his car and a set of grumbly old gears causing it to sort of chug and jitter in slow traffic... and here I am with nice new gears in a bucket with no old rear axle to even fit them in. I need to verify but Im pretty sure they are from an older Volvo with a split case rear axle and not one with a tin cap like my 122 or most rear axles. I believe they are smaller gears, maybe from a earlier car with a b16 or something ?

Can you find any part numbers on them?

I can look Chris I’ll get back on that in the meantime
let me know if there is any urgency

If I remember right they say Volvo on them but it’s been a while since I had them out to look

I can measure and dimensions or take pics if someone needs it

Would you know offhand the number of gear teeth on the crown or pinion that you’d like ?

Somewhere I have an older repair manual that might have some older data it had good detail on the setup procedures

“… let me know if there is any urgency…”

Oh, I didn’t mean that I needed the gears myself. I was just suggesting that you look for part numbers so that you can let others know what you have to offer. If they’re truly NOS someone might be willing to give you some decent coin for them. Knowing the tooth count of each one (ratio) would be good info to share also.

If one of the sets turned out to be 4.88 to 1 it could be useful to a rally driver. There is also a set even lower, in the fives but they are very rare.

I'll get back with more detail. I just need to get them out and take pics , record dimensions , number of teeth etc. Sorry for the delay.
