Sluggish start when cold 700 1992

Hi BB,

I have a 1992 brick, Regina, Naturally Aspirated, VX cam and adjustable cam sprocket.

When cold, it starts fine, but if I open the throttle it bogs down, sometimes even stalls. Feels like it gets air, but not fuel. If I wait 30 seconds idling, I can drive off just fine.

Recently worked on rotor, housing, and spark plug wires less than 1 year, but shoddy quality perhaps.

Any thoughts?

    Here's some ideas:

Replace geriatric vacuum lines and elbows.

Check for air leaks between the throttle body and AMM.

Treat your gas tank to some Techron injection cleaner.

    Check for OBD codes.

    Cheers, Bill
