Donut spare tire for PV544 444-544

I need a "Donut" sized spare tire for my newly restored PV544. My old Volvo spare won't fit the well anymore, because I outfitted the trunk lid with pneumatic support tubes that get in the way.
Anybody have ideas on the best way to do this?

go to your local salvage yard a lot of Fords have that tire

Volvo PV have the same bolt circle like Ford and Mopars, maybe you find something there? Can you post pictures of your pneumatic support of the trunk lid, I’m very curious about this solution, thx

The early PV's had the spare horizontally below a board which acted as the floor of the trunk. If you don't habitually need a lot of trunk space you could make a version of that to take your normal spare plus jack etc.
