Anyone know where I can find one, or ship mine to be rebuilt?

Hello Jim,

Have you tried to find an automotive generator rebuilder in your area?

I found a few on Google that are in your area, but they're not in your city.

Most of the time, it's a simple repair as long as the bendix and solenoid are in good shape.

I suggest that you don't mention that it's for a Volvo, just tell them it's a 6 volt starter made by Bosch.

If you can't find anyone who'll deal with it, you can send it to us and I'll have our rebuilder check it out.

It’s good to hear from you; it’s been many years since I posted here & you’ve helped me out many times. I’ll follow your advice & look for a local generator rebuilder. Thanks again.
