Hi all--
I want to lube the rear wheel bearings on my 544.I took the cover off the differential and drained the oil. The cover seal was leaking.
What a smell!


I pulled the axle on one side, no problem. No "clips". It pulled out with a sharp tug.

The other side is stuck in and I don't see any obvious mechanical retention.
What am I missing?
