DO88 Silicone Engine Oil Cooler Hoses for 945T 900 1995

Hello, I am back to doing some maintenance on our '95 945 turbo and currently replacing the oil cooler hoses. IPD offers a silicone hose kit from DO88, and I am interested in the quality of these hoses compared to the OEM version recommended in the 740/940 FAQs. Does anyone reading this have any experience or thoughts about hoses from this company? Many thanks for any replies.

DO88 Silicone Engine Oil Cooler Hoses for 945T 900 1995

Thanks for your reply. I'm the second owner, having purchased the car in 2005. It's on its second set of oil cooler hoses since then; both sets are Volvo OEM. The last replacement was in 2010. These are now 12 years old and showing signs of bulging at the hose clamps so time to replace them. I was curious about silicone as a new and improved hose material, but have read since posting the other day that silicone hoses can absorb oil. I ordered OEM again for this job.

I'm also going to replace the oil cooler gasket and hope that helps control the oil leak in that area. If anyone can confirm the torque for the nut that holds the oil cooler housing in place (I was told 15 ft-lbs), that would be much appreciated.
