anyone know the torque for a rear axle nut on a 63 544, thnks 2tired

    I'd recommend a slight film of graphite grease on the cleaned, tapered Axle shafts (and mating Drumhub), then tighening the Drumnut to 80Ft/Lbs, and starting to watch for Cotter Pin alignment opportunities...tighten further as necessary until CP can be installed...
