Power Antenna Questions - Related to adding trailer hookup 900

Most posts regarding wiring a adapter for trailer lights to a 900 series suggest tapping the green (always on) power wire to the power antenna. I have the Hoppy adapter kit and am trying to install and wire it up.

On my 92 945 I have the access panels off and can see part of the power antenna but no sign of any wires other than the antenna connection and a big diameter black wire, and a drain hose. Is the green wire inside a black covered cable with other wires?

Second issue, the power antenna quit raising some time back. I would replace it or at least remove and troubleshoot if I had a clue as to how to get it out. The antenna appears to have the car built around it at the real drivers side corner on this station wagon. Is there additional access lower than the rear area through the spare tire well?

Power Antenna Questions - Related to adding trailer hookup 900

If it is anything like my 855, in order to service the fuel door, I had to remove one half of the plastic trim around the rear hatch.

Look at how the trim overlaps - I started with the middle piece at the top of the hatch.

I had to remove the trim all the way to the back seat to service the door.

BTW. The problem was a twisted grommet around the pin that locks the door, I was able to see the issue on one of my other 850s and fix it from the gas filler area
