After the master cylinder is in place, test to see that the piston is in the proper place after a brake application.

You should be able to put a paper clip down the little hole at the bottom of the reservoir and NOT be stopped by the piston.

This little hole alows brake fluid to bleed back into the reservoir as the fluid expands do to heat.

If your master cylinder does not pass this test, your brakes will drag and possibly even sieze up the brakes.
