Heater cotrol valve vacuum line 700

Howdy all
have a 1988 745 turbo AC car, that's got a failing heater control valve. I will be replacing it, does not look like the one failing is the correct unit. My problem I am having beyond the valve is there is no vacuum line hooked to the unit.I would like to install the vacuum line but I cant find any info on where the vacuum line comes from. I have searched the firewall for something but no luck. Hoping someone can trace there line coming off the valve and find its source.
