Good morning. I have my 1983 242 Turbo in the paint shop completing restoration. I disassembled the car to repaint it. I had the door latches replaced. I can’t for the life of me figure out where the plate goes that I’m holding. I thought it was a shim for the door striker but as you can see in the second photo it does not alight. Any advice? Thanks.
