Recommendations for sources of cloth front seat covers to go over/on top of my well worn front seats on 1992 & 1989 245s. I've bought a few generic "universal fit", but they are way too small for my 240s (and previous 740s).
In FAQs here Marathon Seat Covers is recommended. I called - they don't make for Volvos, mostly trucks.
Looking for $25 - $75 each. Do they exist?
I'll make a separate post ISO front seat covers for my 2000 V70 XC.

Other BB members must put seat covers on, esp front seats. The ones I've bought are never big enough to cover and stay in place.

I put seat covers on my 87---in 1998---still fine. WalMart-- I seem to remember $25 to 30---for front bucket seats.
They were 'Fits' MiniVans an SUVs
I got --- Indian Blanket style, for 'bucket' seats. Had a velcro slit across the top. Removed the head rests, installed the cover, put back the head rests...good to go.

Out of Stock at Walmart these days.

I also had the same on a 75 245. Like the 87 it had those Volvo-naugahide seats---but then nobody puts seat covers on anymore.

Thanks, you give me hope. I'll pursue these leads and post back what I find. I'm trying to get my seats to not wear out anymore than they already are, and sacrifice the seat covers to wear and tear.
