Foreign Cars of Poughkeepsie - Anybody use them?

Hi Folks,

Has anybody used Foreign Cars of Poughkeepsie?

My 940 needs a new rear engine oil seal.

I've been using Thrift King outside Cold Spring, NY and Quality Motors up in Balston Spa. Both great shops but both really booked up (and Quality far away).

I'm in Brooklyn and don't trust ANY shop in NYC.

Thanks for any info.

    Maybe a different direction?

    Hi Bert,

Bummer that relieving the pressure didn't fix your seal leaking issue.
You probably have a reason to go to Poughkeepsie but if not, Eurocars Plus in Groton Connecticut might not be much further from you. I can recommend them as an honest and capable Volvo-specific shop. However they are quite busy too I think (scheduled my last service about 3 weeks out). Their hourly rate is up to $110 now.

    Best of luck,
    Will

      Thanks for the tip Will.

Thinking of going up to Quality Motors. I have a history with them. Great shop.

Kind of stunned I have this big oil leak. Car has been serviced well... ???
