body 'spears' 444-544

I have 6 body molding "spears" which are similar to the 544 ones but have a more triangular profile.
Lengths are as follows: 2 ea 44.5"
2 ea 36.5"
2 ea 32.5"
Can anyone tell me what model they are for?

Probably for a 122 as the side trims look similar.

    Can you post a picture?

Can't take a good picture. They are the same width as ones on the 544, and were with some 544 parts, but the they are flattened to a wedge shape on one end instead of a point and the profile is more triangular than rounded.

    What are "spears"?

Spears are the chrome side trim on the body.

        Humor

I don’t know about spears on these old cars but if it were a AMC made car, say of the early seventies, the whole car could be called a Javelin! (:)

Yes, I would think that they must be for side body trim decor.
Doors, fenders or rear quarter panels.
Hopefully stainless steel but chrome might be too far back even for this series.
Parts off a 1950 Chevrolet came with both.
Henry Ford had something to do with getting us into stainless trim.
Fake chrome of Plastic is another story, all together!
