The FAQ's showed a link to jorgenauto.com as a reliable source for rebuilt steering racks.
It seems they have since gone out of business.
Do any BrickBoarders out there know of another reliable and quality source for a rebuilt TRW power steering rack?

Hope you're well. Here's a source for re-built CAM/TRW racks. I do not know anything about the re-builder and so anything about the quality of the re-built unit.

The price - $249 - does not include a $125 core charge, which charge is refunded once you send to them the worn-out rack. The seller covers the cost of shipping to you and for your return of the worn-out unit.

As their listing text limits applicability up to and including the 1992 model year, but the compatibility table extends to the '95 940, double-check that they have a unit that fits your car. So far as I know, any CAM/TRW unit for a '92 940 will fit in a later model, that takes the CAM/TRW rack.

Thank you Spook. The box store rebuilds are all "Lifetime Guaranteed", but they still leak.
I'll try your source.

Rack Doctor in South Carolina. Offers lifetime warranty. Your core must meet certain criteria to be eligible. I got one from them for another vehicle of mine and it is doing fine .
