disc brake conversion 444-544

The current Volvo pv544 Facebook page shows an advertisement for a disc brake conversion kit sold by a company called ARU in the Netherlands at the following web address (https://arupowerbrakes.nl/index.php). If any of you have tried this product, do you recommend for or against? Thanks in advance!

Interesting. Havent seen this particular conversion before. I did the volvo later model disk conversion from a donor car. It was actually pretty easy. I think I have a slide show of it that i pulled off the internet years ago if you are interested.

If that slide show is still available, I'd be grateful for advice on how to access it. Meanwhile, I assume your conversion was front brakes only? And if so did you need a pressure regulator to equalize front discs and back drums, or did you change over to a dual master cylinder and separate the front from the back lines to create two independent systems? And while I'm at it, what brake fluid do you find works best for your hybrid system? (And many thanks for tolerating these additional questions!)

I found some instructions to install front amazon discs here:
        http://www.bearmanmotorsports.com/pv.html
I plan to do this on my 445.

Note that there is also conversion option for the rear brakes:
