Stupid Vacuum question 200 1984

Ridiculously rookie question here, especially considering the fact that I've been working on this car since 2002, but where do the vacuum ports on the passenger side of an LH 2.0 throttle body connect? I've combed my Bentley, Haynes, and the OZ archive looking for a comprehensive map of the vacuum connections on this car to no avail.

These don't answer your question directly but may give a clue:

If you're asking about the 2 hose barbs for vacuum lines mounted on top of the throttle body, they both are for hoses that go to the charcoal canister that is mounted behind the bumper at the left front fender.

Ahhhh, a picture is worth a 1000 words!!

The hose for the rearward vacuum nipple goes to the flame trap/PCV fitting under the intake manifold.

The forward vacuum nipple is connected to a short piece of hose with in turn is connected to a small plastic tube that is routed under the engine crankshaft that is then connected to the vacuum sensor on the side of ignition computer. The ignition computer is located behind the right headlight under the hood.

Awesome, Thanks Eric.
I thought it went to the flame trap, but I was feeling around down there for a connection to no avail. Where is that extra joint in your forearm when you need it?

You might not find the small hose barb on the PCV/flame trap if the hose barb on the plastic PCV/flame trap fitting has broken off which is a common occurrence.

However, new fittings and flame traps are cheap and plentiful.
