hi,
i made a new post to post this video to get a larger audience for input and diagnosis.

no bearings are rolling around in the case.

i found on the internet that this bearing uses a plastic casing, which could broke and allow the bearings to roll around. volvo p/n 1232993.

    i think it's this bearing that has a plastic cage. volvo p/n 1232993, nla.

    a turbobricks reply i posted mentioned the same thing.

    and can be seen installed in this volvo forum's link. The #20 posting shows a photo of the bearing with the white plastic retainer to the left of the big washer on the main shaft
