Hi there, I am the new owner of a beautiful and immaculately maintained 1988 760 and I (almost) couldn't be happier. The only thing that could add to my joy is if the cassette deck worked! The tuner works and I have the code in case of battery disconnect. The cassette deck does not work - no info displayed on screen and when a tape is inserted it clicks and eventually ejects. Help! The previous owner has owned it since the 90s and had never used the cassette deck. I pulled it out and it seems to me like there is something that is not plugged in that should be.     Could be gummed up, try cleaning the heads and capstans with a qtip and alcohol. Could be the drive belt are stretched or perished. Try another tape, could be binding. Try slamming (Not to hard) the tape on a table to release internal binding.
