122S wagon rear back rest 120-130 1966

Would appreciate any info as to how to remove the rear back rest in my -66 122S wagon

Hello,

Locate the left pivot bracket that is attached to the lower section of the left inner wheel well that is inside the car.

You may have to push/compress part of the seat cushion to see it.

There is a slot in that bracket that you stick a screwdriver into so you pry the spring loaded pin in towards the seat.

When you compress the pin far enough you will be able to pivot that side out and then the other side will slide out easily.
