I’m looking at a set of e-codes with fogs for my 940. How can I tell if they are for a right or left hand drive car? Thanks.

There are various numbers and letters on the lens. There will be an 'E' (larger than the other characters) in a circle followed by a number. That number is the country code.

1 is the code for Germany so those would be correct, assuming you are in the US.

11 is the code for the UK so you would want to avoid those.

Easiest way I know is to temporarily power it up and put the pattern on a wall. Horizontal cutoff of light -- if it angles up at about 45 degrees on the right side -- it's for cars that drive on the right side of the road. If it angles up on the left side, it's for cars that drive on the left side of the road.

If the e-codes are from a British colony or Japan, they will be for right hand drivers.
