740 vs 940 Body - Doors 700 1988

I have a 1988 740 wagon and need a new rear door. Used parts listings include a lot of 940 doors, in particular one from 1992. Question is - are these doors the same, and would the 940 rear door fit on the 740?

    Front and rear doors are interchangeable 740/940/sedan/wagon. About the only difference I'm aware of is the exterior door trim. On some 740 models (GL/GLE trim) the trim strips and door handle are nickel chrome accented rather than black anodized metal. Tailgates should also be interchangeable, but not trunk lids.
