Cheapest, easiest and most compact filter wrench I've used is the single lever flex jaw type. They need minimal clearance and even with the straight handle you can easily use them at a bit of an angle so work fine in both turbo and NA filter locations. Easily stores in tool boxes as well. Under $10 -currently $3.99 at Autozone for the OEMTools brand that fits 2-1/4" to 4-1/4". Two seconds to easily flip the spring loaded jaw over the end of the filter at an angle to give it a little twist to get it started. Only if the oil filter was frozen on would you need something that would fully grip the filter, like the three fingered design that goes on the end of a ratchet using a universal joint on the end if needed to get at odd angles as in the turbo. Trickiest bit as always is to get the filter off with the least amount of spillage, being sure to wipe oil off rubber engine mounts, hoses and the like. Wipe a good coat of oil on the rubber filter seal ring and hand tighten -don't need a wrench, just makes it harder for the next guy.
