My 1990 740 volvo wagon has a water leak which was recently addressed by cleaning the drain pipes however the leaks still occur. Where do I go from here?

Do all 4 drains pour out water when you pour about 8 ounces in each? The water should come out immediately.

If the water comes out OK, then see if you can find out which one(s) are leaking - it is possible that a hose has broken or come loose.

If this does not find the problem, I suggest that you apply duct tape all over the perimeter of the sunroof and see if the leaks persist.

Possible culprits are the windshield, the cowl area, or a luggage rack.

You could tape around the windshield to rule that out.

The cowl cover is easy to remove - remove the wiper arms after marking the windshield with their locations at rest. The plastic covers over the end of the arms flip up to reveal the bolt that holds the arm on.

There are screws along the front of the cowl, under the hood - the rear of the cowl hooks to the body

Is the screen in place under the cowl slots? Volvo just glues the screen on with black goop - the screen falls off and stuff clogs the cowl drains. I secured the screens of my 700s with 8 small zip ties.
