Hi Brickboard
I removed the fuel sender assembly from the tank to replace the pump. How do i remove the pump from the assembly? I read Art's description but cant figure out how to release the pump from the fixture, what spring do i need to release? Seems like it should be obvious but I'm not getting it.
Would someone point me in the right direction? thanks Greg

I spent more time looking at the fixture and figured out that Art was saying release the metal bar that goes to the bottom of the pump intake end of the fixture. I pried the plastic tab away from the pump and that let the metal bar slide up allowing the pump to be removed.
