Air Conditioning 140-160 1969

I have a 1969 Volvo 145 with air conditioning, I can't find any pictures of the engine compartment showing the air conditioner compressor installed.

Hello,

I have a customer with a 1971 144 with the dealer installed A/C.

I could take a picture the next time he is in.

However, if you need to re-install a compressor, I would strongly suggest you upgrade to an axial/rotary style compressor like a Sanden.

1 of those draws a lot less horsepower and is more efficient.

FYI, I also suggest you upgrade the hose connections. The original single flare connections leak and should be replaced with o-ring fittings.

Thank you Eric, I need new hoses anyway, and need to convert to the current stuff that is legal.

Pictures will help me for sure.
