Heater core and hoses source? 200 1993

I'm preparing to replace my fan motor, and I would like to replace the heater core if I find it's original or questionable.

Since this is a tedious job, I want to do it once and want to use quality parts. I did a few searches and did not find the Volvo OE parts readily available. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Replacing the fan motor is easy. The heater core you will be going in and that is a real big job.

Voluparts offers a new heater core branded 'ADPI' for $119 plus shipping

IPD offers one branded 'Ready Aire' for $105.

I could not find others readily available.

Since IPD is local, I ordered up one from them. Here is the link:

Two questions:
1. The unit I received is not a 'Ready Aire' unit. It's from Vista-Pro Automotive. I cannot find anything good about them. Anyone have any comments on their products?

2. Both outlets 'flex' or 'move' when I apply upward or downward pressure on the pipe ends. They do not move side to side. The solder joints look good, but I'm afraid this flexing may cause problems later. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance.

If the heater core is original, then it is questionable. LOL!

Heater hose - I simply bought heater hose in the appropriate size by the foot at the local parts store. There's nothing magical about it in my opinion. As for core --- given the age of the cars, suspect you'll be stuck with where ever you can source one. Rock Auto has 3 in stock -- two different brands, both around $50. I'd grab one while you can.

IPD has a few of these in stock - never heard of the manufacturer (Ready Aire).

Interesting, the IPD one has the same part number as the cheapest model available for $49 at Rock Auto. 9010190
