How did the jumping procedure go? After connecting both cars with jumpers, the donor car (940) must be started and running before attempting to start the second car. If the donor car unable to start it could be either its battery has depleted or its ECU damaged from sparking when connecting jumpers. The latter is less likely to happen. Is the 940 Regina or Bosch?

Its a known issue that Reginas can't run when its battery is below a certain voltage. Starter may turn but engine won't run.

If the other car, battery is probably toast and/or alternator.

what car wont start again? Are you saying that the starter doesnt engage??Is it your Volvo?Is it just a coincidence??
