It would seem like a simple job but not for me.
I need to replace the neutral safety switch , so I need to remove that plastic cover that rests on top of the tunnel. There is a steel clip off the backside of it but doesn't budge at all. What's the secret ?

Two screws on the front side, straight down, hard to see. On my 1987 they're Phillips. Then it slides back and off the clip.
