Suggestion for the Forum 900

I've owned and worked on 940 as well as 960 cars. While some model years (pre-1996?) of these cars share front suspensions, brake systems and some body panels, there is nothing similar about their drivetrains. Meanwhile, the 90 series cars are nearly identical to 1996 and later 960s.

As a result, when posting to the BB, I feel my questions have more relevance to owners of S&V90s than to owners of 940s. Why not retitle the S90-V90 folder "960 - S&V90" so we can talk about the same cars in the same folder.

700-900 FAQ No Longer Supported, AFAIK 900

    Hi analogdad,

The brickboard member to most recently curate the Volvo 700-900 series FAQ, the primary version also used at other sites, resigned the role some months ago.

The role is open for one or more members to curate the Volvo 700-900 series FAQ.

The Volvo 700-900 series FAQ does not support 960 - S&V90 series very well.

The Volvo 700-900 series FAQ requires significant updates to the 960 - S&V90 series info, OBD-II info, makes mention to do so yet how to lever up the water pump in the water pump install procedure (many seem to fail this water pump install step) on redblock 700-900.

It would also be swell to have a 240 series FAQ for the same reason you want a 960 - S&V90 series section in the FAQ.

    Questions and comments?

    Happy Snowy Sat-Your-Day.

    No More Eggnog, Boyeeeee.
