New User Introduction, With 240 Photo!

Hi all,

I'm a month into this new-to-me 240 wagon and loving it! 192K miles, original paint, running great. I probably paid a premium for it--$5,500 on Craigslist--but lots of recent work done including timing belt, new front seals, new rear bushings and shocks, brand new tires, etc etc. All systems are go it seems and car drives great.

Thanks for all the great info here on the site and I look forward to posting more as things develop. Say hi if you see me parked at surf spots between LA and Ventura!

Congratulations MachineAge! It must be nice to have one in great shape. By now you know that 240 wagons are good solid cars. Comfortable and useful for road trips or commuting. And very handy for hauling with the rear seat folded flat. I put about 400 miles a week on mine, and love it.

    Hi,

Sort of like photobucket. Many on this form don't like what Photobucket became.

However, you have the brickboard photo gallery called BrickPix. Free like brickboard!

Press Ctrl + mouse click on BrickPix at the top of each brickboard page.

As you are already logged into your brickboard account, open the BrickPix in a new browser tab.

    Click [ADD A NEW EXHIBIT]

The instructions are out of date a little bit. The limit is a max of 1 megabyte for image file size. The image may be as large as you want. 900 pixels wide may be best in the image or when you use html to reference the image file.

Use the full URL always. Example:

    https://dzywoxlnnkpjm.cloudfront.net/12784.jpg

Our Uncle Art Benstein's bright and happy image posting image posted using HTML in the message editor area:

Some like imgur.com, also. I use only BrickPix.

    Instead of:
    http://cleanflametrap.com/imgcode.jpg

    We replace with:
    https://dzywoxlnnkpjm.cloudfront.net/12784.jpg

    And voila!

You can try this way versus the IMAGE URL at the bottom of the page below the message editor area.

    Questions and comments, please?

    Hope that helps you.

Hi thanks for all of this info. I had found the yellow box photo info after a search and tried that in the post above. Let's try it again to see if I can get this photo to appear here:
