91 Volvo 240 Shaking 200 1991

I have a 91 Volvo 240 sedan that is a 4 cylinder, automatic and i have noticed the whole body shakes when i use the brakes, make a turn or hit the gas too hard from a dead stop. i was wondering what issues could cause this in my vehicle?

Brakes - near a brake job, turn - tie rod ends, Shake taking off - motor mounts.

Or more...

Hi,

I would say that the front end needs lots of work and soon.

Brake rotors might be warped and front suspension parts might need to be replaced.
Good news is all these parts are relatively inexpensive because they are regular run of the mill, off the shelf, maintenance parts.

How many miles are the wheels standing in front of, by chance?

Phil

I’m not completely sure, I bought her about a year ago, the odometer shows over 200,000 but it hadn’t been working when I bought her, she’s a bit of a fixer upper and I kinda knew already when I bought her that she would need some extra special tlc that she didn’t get much of in the past
