REV COUNTER PICK UP/ REVERSE SWITCH ON TRANSMISION/ FOOT DIPPER SWITCH 1800

Hi, am trying to connect the rev counter pick up ,but i cant figure out wich connection goes where ,the diagram i have has a diferent set up, my rev counter is the aluminum one that has the ground cable on the left next to A + M ,question is , where the black rev counter gauge,black and white from distributor and the white cable go.
Also i don't have the cable connection that goes to the reverse switch on the transmision.
My foot dipper switch isn't there,i suppossed is the same like the old american cars you press to switch hi beam .???????

    REV COUNTER PICK UP/ REVERSE SWITCH ON TRANSMISION/ FOOT DIPPER SWITCH 1800

    Jorge;

    For Rev counter, see: https://www.sw-em.com/Smith's%20Tachometer.htm

    Wire for reversing light control comes from transmission and is connected to chassis when in reverse gear. It comes up from the transmission in a sleeve along with the OD wiring.

    If yours is a '71 then you have hi/Lo beam control on the directional signal stalk...pull it back and listen for the clack of bistable relay in engine compartment.

    Good Hunting

        Jorge;

        ...that makes a huge difference!...you don't give this in your profile so I presumed from your forum name, that it was a '71...always give vehicle details!

        ...given its a '63...

        Tach (unless changed to type 2) will have the separate sensing box (NLA oe, but possibly repro).

        Other info I gave is still valid.

        Cheers
