Hi marmiteman,
Bosch PN 0580254996 appears rather pricey for new (unused) old stock.
I see it for nearly $500 on Amazon.

I guess Bosch provides no interchange or a generic option that provide flow, pressure, and I dunno what other features you need for your Bosch D-Jetronic 1974 Volvo 145.

The Lucas Injection does not feature your pump Bosch PN. Also, indeed, new old stock may not enjoy the ethanol in most auto fuel blends.
Modern Bosch pumps, and after market, do accommodate ethanol and other additives.
If there is a reference someplace of your pump Bosch PN 0580254996 pump spec, and a suitable Bosch or aftermarket will suit it., maybe you'll have other solutions? Have you tried the dealership for a Volvo PN and spec information?
Else, while we would have a Bosch preference, maybe Chuck and Art's discussion helps.
Maybe by Sat-Your-Day or so I'll see what I can turn up using your Bosch PN. I'll see what shows up on the Volvo PN schema. I'll bet at least one pump is listed, and it is NLA.
I'm unsure what auto part vendor options you have in Halifax. Yet maybe try your nearby Volvo dealership.
Also, close to you in Rhode Island, US is Tasca and their Volvo Parts page. Not far from you.
I'll let you know if I find anything.
I'd also put a new tire or space saver spare donut on that 40-year rim. In the event you need to use it.
Thanks.
Duffed.
