Hello,
I'm looking for a couple of body parts for my wagon. The plastic cover for the front bumper (can't seem to find it in stock anymore new) and the part number and center trim on the back bumper. Thought having the part number could maybe help find the center trim. Seems maybe I will have to go with used for both but not having great luck even finding used parts.

I have a loose bumper cover--but don't recall whether it's a front or rear cover (think front). I am currently on the road and will return in two weeks. I'm located in Bay Shore--45 minutes from Queens. Price -- $25. My home phone six-three-one 968-8933. -- Dave

Thank you. I've been getting some crazy prices from some of the parts web sites online, around $400 for the cover. New from a volvo dealer the cover was around $150. I'll call the people you recommend

once upon a Brickboard, places like RPR in Calif and a few others albeit they were new parts sellers, had tiny Ads here. There once was a guy in MD lower(east or west shore of the Bay) who had a yard full of recycled Volvos

seems it might be a good idea here on the BB to have a listing of current parts recyclers.

Yes that would be great if a list of salvage yards was available for reference. I've been driving 240 wagons since my teens. I love digging for parts in junk yards -- but not many 240's anymore. And not too many you pull junk yards near NYC. I would drive two hours to a junk yard and leave empty handed. I finally had to give up on the idea that I could find and pull the parts myself.
