Idle Problems 700 1991

My engine is shaking violently when I'm stopped at a stop light and it has started to make loud popping noises when I drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Has your car been properly maintained?

    Volvos compensate quite a bit to make up for problems.

    Sounds like you need a good tune-up, including ignition wires and other parts.

    Of course, don't worry, It won't run long like that!
