21,22, or 23? 900

Trying to get bushings for the front sway bar (not link bushings) for my 945T. It seems the only ones available are 21mm. Green Book says Turbo's have 22mm, yet my OEM measures 23mm(?).
It appears 21mm is the only size available. Anyone know different by available part #?

Dear Townshend Act,

Hope you're well. Yes! According to Volvo VADIS - a superseded dealer parts/service database - for 940s, the bushing diameter changed between chassis numbers 178477 (sedans) and 121008 (wagons).

A chassis with a number below those specified was equipped with a 21mm bushing (Part #1273615). A chassis with a number above those specified was equipped with a 22mm bushing (Part #1273184).

The price for each bushing is about $9 or $18 for a pair. These parts should be available at a North American Volvo dealer.

I do not find any mention of a 23mm bushing. IPD makes an anti-sway kit (Part #100994) with 25mm diameter bars (front and back). The cost if $400. They're on back-order: should ship within four months. I've retrofitted the IPD anti-sway bars to my 940. The thicker bar eases cornering.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook

Thank you Mr. Spook. Your answer gave me all the numbers I needed for a sound decision.
