1991 940 SE Headlight conversion 900 1991

I am the proud owner of a 1991 940 SE. This car comes with factory fog lights, thus has smaller headlights than Volvos without fog. I would like to change out my current lights to the larger headlight without the fog lights. Can this be done without major work? Also, do I need to change out the grill to do this? 2nd question: the headlights I have now are the 9004 bulb configuration, which I understand was a terrible standard for headlights. (good old US regulations). I'm considering changing over to E-code (European) headlights, which are I believe H-4 bulb configuration. Is this doable without major re-vamping? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My e-mail is: charleshess51@yahoo.com

To change to e-codes, you won't have to change the grill. You will have to find the correct e-code turn signals. Th e-codes are great headlights.

To change to non-fog headlights (like came on the 1990-91 740), you'll have to change the grill, grill supports and baffles, under headlight trim, and turn signals. Don't expext any improvement in headlight peformance with these headlights.
